THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Sr. Brand Manager to join our OPI Brand Management team.  

The Sr. Brand Manager, OPI, oversees comprehensive brand management, including developing strategies informed by data-driven business analysis and market insights. This role is responsible for managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to drive growth and profitability. Additionally, the manager leads communication recaps, refines brand messaging, and acts as a steward for the brand, ensuring alignment across all business and creative functions.

In this full-time role, you will report to the Senior Director of Wella Retail Brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute innovative, break-through marketing plans that capture consumer attention, drive brand visibility, and set OPI apart in the competitive beauty landscape.
  • Derive insights from data to set the direction for brand growth
  • Own and manage the brand budget, ensuring an effective and economical allocation of resources.
  • Manage monthly communication recaps including the impact of monthly activities on revenues, profitability, product and channel mix, and performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative learnings to refine our understanding of the “who” and to optimize messaging and brand claims
  • Prepares, presents, and sells-in the activity master plan to Senior Leadership, Sales, and cross-functional partners
  • Create briefs that translate to creative work that drives engagement and influence
  • Act as a brand steward and models the way for others on the Brand team

Collaboration & Analytics

  • Collaborate with global team to create value propositions and positioning for key base business products and new launches
  • Collaborate and liaison between cross-functional partners (demand planning, product supply, global marketing, sales, influencer marketing, and education) to ensure integrated campaigns and cohesive strategies
  • Coordinate across multiple internal partners and external agencies in developing creative advertising, high-impact promotions, and media planning and ensure that all media plans are aligned with business values and goals.

The Sr. Brand Manager performs other tasks as designated by the Senior Director of Retail Brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant field
  • 8+ years relevant experience in Marketing (previous CPG/Beauty preferred).
  • Digitally savvy
  • Passionate about Beauty
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Bias to action to deliver projects complete and on-time, with ability to motivate others to support
  • Strong ownership and accountability - able to roll-up your sleeves and make things happen
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to tailor messages for various audiences in a manner that is relatable and understandable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Positive, ‘can do’ energy and team-oriented
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint (an absolute must!), Word, Excel (also a must!) and related software skills to create verbal and visually engaging brand materials, reports, and presentations

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $120,000 - $155,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
