THE ROLE

 

We are searching for a Sr. Director of eCommerce who will lead the full spectrum of our digital commerce ecosystem across Amazon, retailer.com, DTC brand sites, and our professional B2B eCommerce platform for our US business. This role will be responsible for driving the eComm pnl, delivering on the annual revenue goals, and leading a team of 18. 

 

This role reports into the US General Manager and will drive growth, shape omni-channel strategy, and lead a large cross-functional team spanning channel management, content, CRM, digital merchandising, and performance marketing.

 

We’re looking for a change agent and operator — someone deeply fluent in Amazon and digital retail, with a sharp commercial mindset, a pulse on consumer behavior, and a track record of scaling businesses through data-driven execution and exceptional leadership.

 

UPDATED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and drive the US eCommerce strategy and performance

  • Lead the strategic and operational delivery of the eCommerce business across Amazon (1P), retailer.com (Ulta, Target, SalonCentric), DTC brand sites, and B2B/professional platforms.
  • Set channel-specific targets and oversee sales, margin, demand forecasts, and inventory performance.
  • Serve as the digital voice within the US leadership team to shape investment, activation, and channel strategies.

 

Lead Amazon as a flagship growth engine

  • Own the Amazon roadmap, including annual vendor negotiations, assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional planning.
  • Manage operational health across retail readiness, catalog accuracy, and chargeback mitigation.
  • Partner with media teams to drive performance through Amazon DSP, search, and display, ensuring efficient ROI.

 

Elevate digital retail and omnichannel execution

  • Build customized strategies with key retail partners to enhance digital shelf, boost conversion, and align with in-store activity.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence and content excellence across retailer.com environments.

 

Accelerate DTC and CRM growth

  • Oversee commercial planning, site merchandising, and digital experience
  • Partner with brand and tech to improve UX, conversion, and checkout flow.
  • Lead CRM strategy across lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and retention to drive LTV.

 

Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing eCommerce team

 

Champion data-driven decision-making and performance tracking

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

•  10+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce with deep expertise in Amazon and other digital retail platforms.

•  Proven commercial acumen with ownership of large P&Ls ($50M+) and track record of revenue growth.

•  Strong leadership experience managing large teams across multiple digital disciplines.

•  Data-driven operator with advanced analytical skills and a bias for action.

•  Excellent communication and executive presence; comfortable influencing at the C-level.

•  Experience in beauty, CPG, or a fast-moving consumer business is highly preferred

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $215,000-280,000K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
