THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager of Consumer Retailer.com, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our premium beauty brands products across our online retailer platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing customized e-commerce and marketing plans tailored to the specific needs and strategies of our premium beauty retailer partners (Ulta, Sephora, etc.). This role requires a deep understanding of retailer strategies, marketing levers, and e-commerce best practices and a keen eye for innovation and competition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a deep understanding of our premium beauty retailer partners' strategies, plans, and key performance indicators.
- Build strong relationships with retailer contacts at various levels to collaborate on e-commerce and marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to align our brand objectives with retailer strategies and leverage retailer resources to drive mutual growth.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand plan to grow e-commerce penetration and drive revenue growth through retailer.com platforms.
- Customize marketing plans, CRM strategies, and promotional activities to maximize brand visibility and sales.
- Identify new formats, product kits, and promotional opportunities to enhance the online shopping experience and drive conversion.
- Work internally and with retail partners to oversee the development and management of high-quality content, including product descriptions, images, videos, and blog posts tailored to retailer.com platforms.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand and retailer standards.
- Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on sell data for the channel.
- Develop an ROI approach to all marketing initiatives to determine high-performing strategies.
- Utilize data analytics tools and performance metrics to track and analyze the effectiveness of e-commerce and marketing initiatives.
- Identify areas for optimization and improvement and develop strategies to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with retailer partners to analyze performance data, share insights, and iterate strategies to achieve mutual goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or retail management roles, with a focus on premium beauty products.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, retailer.com platforms, and marketing strategies specific to the premium beauty industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving business growth.
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $140,000 - $150,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
