E-COMMERCE Digital Specialist Northern Europe

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The consumer journey from awareness to conversion is experiencing an unprecedented change. From emerging e-commerce platforms to significant advancements in retailer CRM and digital media, the retail marketing landscape has changed forever.

 

To deliver against our ambition, we need to accelerate our Retail Media maturity and upscale our marketing plans with our key omnichannel partners. This role operates as a key conduit between the Marketing teams and Omnichannel teams, ensuring effective planning, investments and tracking of all bought Retail Media activities.

 

As a E-commerce Digital Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for our retail media strategy and optimization for our Northern European business. Providing counsel and expertise for the teams to optimize our budgets and ROI, build our brands and convert shoppers. You will be part of the End Consumer Channels (ECC) Trade Marketing team and will be reporting to the Associate Director EEC Trade Marketing & New Business.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO
In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Leading & driving our Retail Media strategy, planning & activation for Northern Europe (BNL + Nordics);
  • Collaborating with the Key Account Managers and Marketing teams to develop and execute retail media strategies across various platforms & retailers;
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive brand awareness and increase customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and seamless consumer experience across all touchpoints;
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and possess the ability to create & implement integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels;
  • Monitor and optimize retail media campaigns to ensure they are aligned with best practices and deliver optimal results;
  • Improving investment ROI, enhancing brand holistic retail media presence, developing partnerships with customer retail media teams, and achievement of media performance targets;

 

 

 

 

  • Working closely with regional and global marketing teams & analyze industry and market trends to identify opportunities to grow and evolve our retail media approach as best practices change and new opportunities emerge.

 


WHAT WILL YOU BRING

 

  • Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field;
  • 5 years+ of relevant experience;
  • Experience in creating Retail Media strategy with integrated campaigns across multiple channels;
  • Strong focus on performance & ROI, able to make well-founded investment choices;
  • Clear, collaborative communicator;
  • Very strong stakeholder management;
  • Drive & passion to stay up to date of industry and market trends;
  • Think & act like a start-up mentality: entrepreneurial and high ownership;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Desirable

  • Affinity with Beauty. Prior beauty category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite;

Selection process

The selection process will be done via interviews with HR, hiring manager and the ECC Director. Calibration of several candidates and interviews will either lead to direct decision or an additional interview if needed.
