THE ROLE

The Sales Coordinator role is multi-faceted. The main pillar is to support the sales team through tasks such as reporting, form completion, and event coordination. Another important pillar is account management to develop sales experience. As an office-based role (171 East Liberty Street, Toronto), responsibilities will also include tasks involved with the day-to-day operations of the Wella Studio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team: Sales Director, 6 National Account Managers and 7 Direct Account Managers.
  • Work closely with the National Account Managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of various customer forms and projects/meetings/events.
  • Work closely with the Direct Sales Manager on topics such as code changes and projects/meetings/events related to the Direct Sales Team. This role may expand to include order entry vacation coverage for the direct sales team and WellaStore tele-sales support.
  • Run daily and monthly sales reports and create other reports as needed.
  • Collect, track, and analyze consumption data.
  • Gather new account information to populate PowerPoint templates to share with the NA team.
  • Verify the distribution centres’ inventory levels on certain products.
  • Complete, submit and track Non-Revenue Orders.
  • Assist with event coordination tasks such as ordering items for and assembling gift bags, venue/hotel/restaurant bookings and invitation management.
  • Manage a P-card for business related expenses such as meeting/event bookings, and DSC incentives.
  • Build positive working relationships with assigned accounts through regular virtual touch points. Track and submit their PO’s. Utilize MyData to gain insights to ensure growth of Wella brands. Deploy promotions and new initiatives accordingly.
  • Support office and studio needs, including but not limited to receptionist duties, shipping, and office supply replenishment.
  • Attend and participate in National / Divisional meetings and trainings (Virtual and In Person). This role also involves tasks related to coordinating these meetings/trainings.
  • Handle additional tasks and assignments as necessary, such as involvement with the Wella Rewards loyalty program.

 

Skills Requirement

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Familiar with SAP, PowerBI, BW, social media platforms
  • Excellent reporting and organizational skills for sales reports, expense reports, itineraries, etc.
  • Flexible and can easily adapt to change.
  • High standards of customer service and professional conduct, internally and externally.
  • Effective oral and written communication in English. French is an asset as some of our customers are based in Québec.
  • Available to work some evenings/weekends as needed for events, meetings.
  • Ability to travel to the USA for a week-long meeting/training.
