ROLE OVERVIEW
The Global Trade Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting OPI’s end-to-end go-to-market excellence across regions and channels. This role ensures flawless deployment of global initiatives, high-quality market communication, disciplined project tracking, and consistent global-to-local alignment. The Specialist acts as the operational backbone of the Trade Marketing function: managing tools, timelines, trackers, and communication flows to help markets execute with excellence and drive commercial performance.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-driven, and proactive marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about the beauty industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative & Coordination Support
- Manage distribution lists, sample requests, and general administrative needs from markets
- Ensure accessibility and consistent organization of shared folders, digital content, and internal sites
- Support ongoing operational needs of the Global Trade Marketing & Marketing teams
2. Deployment & FFU (Fit-For-Use) Support
- Coordinate all global deployment processes end-to-end, including recordings, toolkits, file sharing, and asset distribution
- Manage FFU feedback loops: track responses, compile inputs, identify gaps, and ensure follow-ups and timelines are met
- Support accurate, timely, and complete dissemination of global content to regions
3. Market Communication
- Draft and circulate regular global bulletins, updates, and initiative communications to markets
- Ensure timely follow-up on requests from regions and maintain clarity and alignment of all shared materials
- Support communication between global and local teams to reinforce consistency and accuracy
4. Toolbox & Content Management (Trade Marketing Content Only)
- Maintain and update the Trade Marketing Shared Folder, including GTM frameworks, 5P overviews, assortment updates, initiative guidance, Concept Sell decks, etc
- Organize and summarize Trade Marketing content in, including Visual Merchandising elements, and initiative summaries specific to Pro and Retail Channels for all Global launch decks
- Manage a centralized library of global marketing materials to support go-to-market execution in all regions.
5. Initiative Tracking, Reporting & Insights
- Track global business performance and help identify key drivers, risks, or opportunities
- Track initiative performance against KPIs and benchmarks, translate findings into clear insights, and prepare presentations for internal reviews with senior leadership
- Maintain and update the Initiative Tracker, ensuring regional visibility and timely communication of changes
- Track forecast submissions from markets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery
- Create and maintain tracking reports and databases related to pricing, promotions, and base-business activity
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Attend weekly cross-functional initiative meetings and relay key actions, updates, or gaps to the trade marketing team and leadership
- Act as a liaison between markets and the global team to ensure a smooth flow of information and alignment on execution
- Coordinate closely with Global Marketing Managers to maintain accurate product information, pricing, timelines, and launch calendars across markets and channels
- Partner with the Global CCI Team to gather data and reporting needed for trade marketing analysis and market/channel evaluations
- Provide support and deliverables for internal meetings, reviews, and leadership sessions
7. Project & Process Management
- Lead small to mid-sized projects from kick-off through completion, ensuring clarity of roles, timelines, and deliverables
- Anticipate barriers and proactively problem-solve to protect timelines and priorities
- Serve as secondary point of contact for internal teams requesting updates or initiating work with Marketing
- Support continuous improvement in trade marketing processes, documentation, and organizational efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline)
- 2-4+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Marketing, Commercial, or related roles (beauty or FMCG a strong plus)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, digital asset management, and project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience consolidating information for global stakeholders preferred
- Ability to work cross-functionally with agility, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset
- A passion for the beauty category and consumer-centric marketing

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $60,000-$70,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
