ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Artwork Copy Expert role is to lead creation of artwork copy documents across multiple brands, in line with respective brand equity guidelines and design. Close collaboration with global and local marketing brand teams, artwork project leaders, and external suppliers will be paramount to enable on-time and in-quality copy delivery into the overall artwork development process.

 

You will join The Global Hair Artwork Team which contributes to global initiatives delivery. We collaborate cross-functionally and strive to deliver 100% of artworks right-first-time, on-time, with zero quality defects, and with high contribution to cost saving.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage the schedule for copy creation process, ensuring it is synchronized with the overall packaging artwork schedule.
  • Ensure that on-pack claims are legally approved, and that respective translations are reviewed, approved, and delivered for final artwork creation.
  • Own the master copy document and ensure it meets latest requirements.
  • Lead copy kick-off meetings with the respective functions.
  • Drive resolution of issues between involved functions to enable on-time and in-quality copy delivery.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implementation of structural fixes in case of final artwork rejections or quality failures related to marketing copy and elements.
  • Give guidance to global marketing on which copy elements are required to be present in the design and artworks.
  • Train functional resources and global translation agency on the copy process and all requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the global translation agency to drive quality improvements.
  • Bring innovative ideas and reapplies learnings that optimizes quality, productivity, and efficiency for the copy process

  • Prior experience in supply chain, project management, legal or artwork 
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Mastery of MS Office tools
  • (nice-to-have) Experience in artwork production
  • (nice-to-have) Practical knowledge of standard industry pre-press and printing, materials, and substrates
  • (nice-to-have) Familiarity with FMCG and/or cosmetic products in professional and/or retail environment
