THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Finance Director for EE-MEA to join our fast-paced organization. In this important leadership role, you will partner closely with the Senior Finance Director and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, support key business decisions, and ensure compliance across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Partnering: Be the primary business partner for the Easter Europe Professional Beauty business - collaborate with multifunctional Wella teams, challenge business partners in commercial negotiations, identify savings opportunities and bring them to life.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A team for the entire EE-MEA cluster (budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning). Establish a robust process in the context of operational transition. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Prepare & perform presentations to Regional and Global stakeholders.
- Cost control: own SG&A forecasting across the entire EE-MEA cluster, working closely with HR team and presenting optimization areas
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits as needed.
- Capability development: train multifunctional teams on finance basics, coach junior members of the finance team, foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong track record in FP&A and business partnering, ideally within an FMC environment.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, P&L management, and operational finance.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actions.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
