DRP Senior Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Distribution Requirements Planning Senior Manager role is to deliver best-in-class service to Wella markets by leading team of planners/senior planners/experts whilst engaging broader stakeholder network. This role also carries responsibility of actively contributing to Wella inventory journey and horizontal responsibility over capability & continuous improvement efforts in broader DRP EMEA team. The work is executed in a high-paced and multicultural environment, with strong focus on collaboration to drive results.

 

You will join the Warsaw Planning HUB Team, which plays a critical role in product delivery to Wella customers. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal decisions on service, cost, cash and innovation. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards, and daily operate in a multi-cultural context.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage team of direct reports, which consists of 5 operational planners and Key User,
  • Have dotted line responsibility over other Managers in EMEA DRP in area of staffing & succession planning, team capability, continuous improvement executed via PDCA cycle,
  • Own execution with excellence of DRP processes by reporting team and own connected KPIs,
  • Own relationship with served business units, which includes active collaboration on supply risk and service & inventory action plans,
  • Be Point of Contact for Central Distribution Center for escalations and mitigation plans,
  • Drive collaboration and continuous improvements with Production and Material Planning teams for owned value stream,
  • Support supply chain transformation projects by assessing and driving required network changes, as a part of Wella transition and growth plan,
  • Lead data analysis in relevant field as part of efficiency and inventory programs
  • Contribute to the capability building across the multifunctional teams, sharing your experience and recommending best practices.
  • Growth discussions with reportees.

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

  • Demonstrated successful experience in team management
  • 5+ Years Work experience in different areas of supply chain management or other relevant fields
  • Ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within the given scope
  • Priority-setting skills and efficient work organization in a dynamic business environment
  • Growth mindset, with focus on solutions, improvements, and constant learning
  • Resilience to frequent changes in the supply chain
  • Ability to think and understand quickly, and to adjust plans and actions to the changing circumstances
  • Good interpersonal skills to influence peers and stakeholders at different organizational levels
  • Ability to define gaps and drive x-functional action plans for issue resolution, risk mitigation and business improvements
  • Proven record of analyses of complex data sets and processes, and of presenting the outcomes (including to leadership), driving the decision-making process
  • Excellent expertise-sharing skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Mastery of MS Office tools
  • (nice-to-have) Practical knowledge of JDA/SAP Planning solutions
