ABOUT THE ROLE
Supply Chain Distribution Senior Manager (North America) leads the department for a given supply chain area within Planning Hub and has top level accountability for the results of the department.
This leader is a role model in representing Wella values and a true champion of Supply Chain improvements within the planning organization. S/He owns and/or contributes significantly to the development of the documented Operating Strategy. S/He is responsible for talent development within the area, ensuring sufficient organizational capability to support the planning operations and driving mastery within their planning organization. S/He is accountable for the overall execution of work processes within the supply chain organization. S/He is accountable for delivering results in service, inventory and cost within their organization through execution of action plans and standard work processes.
You will join the Global Supply Chain Planning Team, which plays a critical role in product delivery to Wella customers. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal decisions on service, cost, cash, and innovation. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards and daily operate in a multi-cultural context.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead Distribution Requirements Planning team for North America region located in Warsaw (7 people).
- Role model the culture and company values.
- Own organization health and ensure strategic communication within department.
- Lead and accelerate change in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and performance in the supply chain.
- Manage the department to deliver the KPIs for business and develop the organization.
- Create, contribute to and ensure compliance with the documented operating strategies.
- Provide leadership for delivering supply chain results for the supply chain and category.
- Provide coaching to the supply chain roles within their organization.
- Support the business performance tracking for the North America Business Unit.
- Ensure customer service results meet or exceed category targets.
- Contribute to and provide leadership for inventory reduction strategies.
- Provide leadership to reduce/eliminate effort touches within their organization.
- Relentlessly drive operational excellence within the standard work processes.
MAIN TASKS:
- Grow the organization

- Assess training needs and provide relevant training (corporate/ functional)
- Develop individual growth plans
- Execute succession planning for the individuals
- Management of the team:
- Planning vacations
- Defining and deploying targets for the team and individuals
- Conduct individual’s performance assessment
- Lead regular 121 meeting
- Career planning for individuals
- Managing overtime
- Contribute to team design
- Distribute responsibilities/tasks in the department
- Reward & recognize outstanding performance
- Delivering the business
- Create vision for the department
- Develop long term strategy for the department
- Develop and complete department action plans linked with company priorities
- Lead and coach gap analysis and implement improvement plans
- Lead full PDCA cycle
- Scorecards

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
- 5 years of experience as supply chain leader mainly in area of planning
- Master degree or higher (logistic, economy or production)
- Practical knowledge of planning in SAP/ BY/ JDA
- Robust leadership and people management skills
- High impact communication skills
- Strong coaching , facilitation and team building skills
- Great cooperation and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking
- Discipline and attentions to details
- Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement
