ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The purpose of the role is to enable business growth in Category/Segment thanks to delivery of the most accurate forecast outlook based on integration of S&OP (Sales & Operational planning) with cross functional strategic business plans.

The Business Unit team you will be joining plays a critical role in product availability to our +20 Distributors across Eastern Europe Region though out transparent cooperation and business intelligence. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal business decisions. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards and daily operate in a multi-cultural context

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop demand forecast based on demand historical patterns, availability situation, market intelligence of key distributor partners and initiatives plans.
  • Evaluate forecast results & improve the forecasts accuracy
  • Develop comprehensive short-term and long-term repair action plans. Respond proactively to business changes and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Collaborates and communicates with Sales, Commercial and Finance on building correct forecast. Brings demand perspective based on  relevant data analysis (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers …)
  • Present forecast results, construction and trends on business meetings
  • Lead monthly forecast collaboration meetings with top distributors and maintain close cooperation with them on demand and supply matters.
  • Closely monitor and plan new product launches and promotional activities together with Commercial and Sales
  • Ensure target availability of products in scope of responsibility by working with dedicated contacts in Planning center, highlighting biggest gaps and driving corrective actions
  • Seek for work efficiency and bring improvement or automation ideas

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain business or a related field required
  • Minimum of two years of progressive job experience in demand or supply planning
  • Experience working with demand planning tool (JDA)
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Mastery of MS Office tools

 

Non-essentials, but highly valued skills:

  • Experience in Supply Chain
  • Practical knowledge SAP
  • Knowledge in Power BI, VBAs and Macros.
