ABOUT THE ROLE

CEEMEA Head of Care leads the Care & Styling portfolio across CEEMEA, shaping category and brand strategies rooted in consumer insight and shopper experience. Drives strong brand equity through ATL‑led storytelling, impactful innovation launches, and flawless execution. Ensures central brand leadership while partnering closely with local Trade Marketing teams to deliver market‑relevant activation and commercial excellence.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Category & Brand Strategy Leadership

  • Lead the regional category strategy for Hair Care (Care & Styling), setting a clear ambition, growth agenda, and long‑term roadmap for CEEMEA
  • Shape and own regional brand strategies grounded in consumer, cultural, and category insights
  • Drive portfolio architecture, innovation pipelines, and lifecycle management in partnership with global teams
  • Identify white‑space opportunities across markets, formats, price tiers, and usage occasions

 

Consumer Insight & Shopper Experience

  • Champion a consumer‑ and shopper‑first mindset, embedding insights into all strategic decisions
  • Translate consumer needs and routines into compelling brand propositions and activation platforms
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to elevate shopper experience across channels, ensuring consistency from brand storytelling to point of sale
  • Leverage data, research, and market trends to inform decision‑making and optimize performance

 

Brand Equity & Communications Excellence

  • Build strong, distinctive brand equity through ATL‑led storytelling, ensuring consistency of message, tone, and visual identity
  • Lead the development and regional rollout of communication platforms, campaigns, and content ecosystems
  • Ensure creative excellence and adherence to global brand frameworks while enabling local relevance
  • Track and enhance brand health, equity, and consideration across markets

 

Innovation & Launch Excellence

  • Drive impactful innovation launches, from concept to execution, ensuring strong regional alignment and local adoption
  • Lead regional launch strategy, sequencing, and prioritization across CEEMEA
  • Ensure flawless execution of new launches in partnership with local marketing, trade marketing, and sales teams
  • Monitor post‑launch performance and continuously optimize plans to maximize ROI

 

Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Excellence

  • Partner closely with local Trade Marketing teams to translate brand strategy into compelling commercial programs
  • Ensure market‑relevant activation that drives sell‑in, sell‑out, and market share growth
  • Align pricing architecture, promotional guidelines, and channel strategies with brand ambition
  • Balance brand building and short‑term commercial delivery across diverse CEEMEA markets

 

Stakeholder & Matrix Leadership

  • Act as the primary CEEMEA interface between global brand/category teams and local market organizations
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across marketing, trade marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance
  • Represent the Hair Care category in regional leadership and strategic planning forums
  • Navigate a complex, multicultural, matrix organization with strong influencing skills

 

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing CEEMEA Hair Care marketing team
  • Build capabilities in brand strategy, innovation management, communications excellence, and integrated activation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and consumer obsession
  • Coach and mentor local teams to raise marketing excellence across the region

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in FMCG marketing, preferably in hair care or beauty categories
  • Proven experience leading large, multi‑brand and multi‑country portfolios
  • Strong track record in ATL communication development and innovation launches
  • Experience working in complex CEEMEA or emerging market environments
  • Demonstrated success in matrix leadership and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Demonstrated success leading innovation and go‑to‑market programs
  • Experience working in complex, multicultural, matrix organizations
  • Ability to build effective relationships internally & externally, driving shared goals. 
  • Pro-active attitude and flexible approach. 
  • Excellent time management skills and prioritization under pressure. 
  • High attention to detail, strong organization and analytical skills. 
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English.
