ABOUT THE ROLE
At Wella, we use the term Initiatives for all projects related to introducing a new product or a family of products to the market as well as any commercial or technical redesigns of the existing portfolio. The purpose of the Initiative Senior Planner role is to successfully manage assigned brand- or multi-brand projects by coordinating multi-functional efforts on execution of the projects.
You will join the Global Supply Chain Planning Team, which plays a critical role in product delivery to Wella customers. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal decisions on service, cost, cash, and innovation. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards, and daily operate in a multi-cultural context.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set SAP planning parameters to initiate master data creation for new finished goods and materials.
- Ensure forecast visibility in the JDA system to allow timely production planning.
- Monitor material availability for first production in close partnership with relevant Planning Teams.
- Provide weekly updates to Business Units on potential risks or delays on new products availability.
- Run and analyze monthly reports to provide most accurate conversion dates to BUs through an online communication tool and to optimize Excess & Obsolete.
- Drive improvement ideas in owned business processes.
- Lead Initiatives from a Supply Chain perspective, engaging multi-functional Initiative team.
- Update Supply Chain Leaders on the status of initiatives, proactively identify risks and providing action plan for risk mitigation.

- University degree or min. 1 year of equivalent experience in any Supply Chain area
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Mastery of MS Office tools
- (nice-to-have) Practical knowledge of SAP & JDA systems
