ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for talented individuals to join our team. The role of the Inventory Analyst is to analyze data related to inventory levels and supply chain operations, monitor performance, identify discrepancies, resolve issues arising between WMS of 3rd Party Logistics and the ERP system of Wella to ensure inventory accuracy and right goods flow management. The Inventory Analyst is expected to understand data governance and perform all activities related to products movement, administration of the SAP environments and controlling inventory accuracy to ensure seamless movement of products and inventory. They will be also responsible for reporting to the Supervisor on key metrics, recommending solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy, evaluating inventory risks and opportunities, keeping track of discrepancies, root cause analysis, coordinate actions with stakeholders to resolve the issues.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Daily system inventory reconciliation with documented track of the results
  • Monitor and reconcile daily inventory issues
  • Inventory record accuracy (IRA) reporting, root causing & driving improvements
  • Assuring proper stock movements according to the procedures
  • Perform regular inventory analyses (loss, gains, obsolete, damaged), levels controlling and major fluctuations root causing and reporting
  • Stock evaluation (i.e freshness) & SAP booking (allocation, statutes), giving directions to DCs and driving improvements for detected operations bias
  • Replenishment plans monitoring, sharing and aligning the changes in timeline, delivery inbound discrepancy clarifying & reporting
  • Support processing customization in the system and assuring proper stock movements  
  • Reporting KPIs to supervisor and partners
  • Assure inventory management compliance with Wella SOX controls
  • Work collaboratively with DC and Wella functions to assure proper daily operations execution, goods flow, inventory booking and management including FIFO/FEFO practices
  • Business travel maybe required

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • At least +1 year of logistics experience
  • SAP knowledge is a must
  • Strong oral communication and writing skills in English
  • High energy and problem-solving attitude, solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Process-orientated and high attention to the details  
  • Proficiency in the use of inventory software
  • Comfortable using MS Excel
  • Working familiarity with various ERP systems (i.e. WMS) as a plus
