ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of Procurement Analyst for Third Procurement Manufacturing (TPM) category is to actively support the Global Category analysis linked to Costing and Cost models, develop efficient and data driven tools using AI and software aiming to increase structuration and predictability as well as save time and bring value to the core

procurement activities for the Wella business. This is an exciting opportunity to support and influence the supply chain sourcing decisions and choices and shape them to fit the needs of a growing agile business.

Today the TPM categories represent a spending of $190 million across 5 key categories and +50 suppliers.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the Direct category procurement team by delivering strong business analytics, preparing data for RFQs / analyzing RFQ results, managing complex price list updates and performing other ad-hoc analysis
  • Interact with Procurement Finance and Procurement Center teams to support routine procurement activities such as spend analysis, pricing review, annual budget preparation, and monthly and quarterly PPV reconciliation
  • Create and coordinate e-sourcing’s or sourcing events, execute and support cost savings projects to help the team in reaching cost savings targets
  • Support the procurement team in protecting the service level through strategic interventions (claim management, crisis resolution, supplier program development) to mitigate supply risk and increase supply chain reliability

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

 

Profile and education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or similar
  • Min 1-2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain planning / operations / finance, preferably but not required in industries such as FMCG, Food, Chemical, Pharma, or Business / Supply Chain consulting
  • Strong analytical skills and solid end-to-end experience of organizing and analyzing large and complex data
  • Experience of working with ERP systems such as SAP and E-sourcing platforms (e.g. Ariba).
  • Advanced level of using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Data visualization (e.g. Power BI) and Microsoft Access skills will be a plus
  • Fluency in English
