Senior Trade Marketing Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility and sales across dedicated channels: Hair Salons, Retail, and E-commerce. This international role covers eight key markets in Eastern Europe, including Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The manager will oversee activities that enhance Wella's presence in those markets and ensure seamless promotion execution to meet business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Strategy Development: Create and execute an integrated trade marketing plan that aligns with Wella Company and brands’ objectives and enhances engagement across targeted channels (Retail, E-commerce, Hair Salons) in the eight assigned markets.
• Market Management: Lead and manage trade marketing counterparts across 8 markets, ensuring effective coordination and execution of trade strategies.
• Channel Optimization: Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing counterparts in markets to develop trade marketing initiatives that increase product visibility and drive sales growth across channels (e-commerce, hair salons, retail) in multiple countries.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Education, and Brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and promotion execution.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data across different markets to determine the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and optimize strategies.
• Budget Management: Efficiently manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve the best return on investment in each market.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

Qualifications:

• Min. bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field.
• Proven experience in international trade marketing, preferably within the consumer goods or beauty industry.
• Strong understanding of retail, e-commerce, and salon channel dynamics
• Experience in managing and leading teams in different countries with a diverse cultural understanding.

Skills:

• Hard Trade / Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cooperation and team management across different cultures and languages.
• Strategic Skills: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with company goals.
