Supply Senior Planner

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Supply Chain Senior Planner role is to deliver best-in-class service to Wella markets by cooperation with Wella Third Party Manufacturers, establishing effective partnership and long-term collaboration.

The Global Supply Chain Planning Team you will be joining plays a critical role in product delivery to Wella customers. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal decisions on service, cost, cash and innovation. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards and daily operate in a multi-cultural context.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Finished product planning in the horizon 0-18 months for Third-Party Manufacturing site(s),
  • Collaboration with Third-Party Manufacturers on daily basis,
  • Monitoring execution of the supply plan and production plan,
  • Resolving any conflicts with suppliers or plants to avoid products availability gaps,
  • Adjusting plans accordingly to demand changes,
  • Participation in new product launches and phase-in/phase-out management.
  • Close monitorin key KPIs for your TPMs: On Time In Full, service level for your portfolio, inventory level.
  • Driving root-cause and action plans in case KPI results are below target.
  • Working closely with Operations team to resolve capacity constraints, material outage, and to improve responsiveness of your TPM.
  • Owning departmental/cross-departmental business process with the goal to develop and standardize best practices within your team.
  • Leading and contributing to supply chain set-up of your TPM by owning supply chain parameters set-up in ERP systems.

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

  • University degree and min. 1 year of equivalent experience in any Supply Chain area
  • Proficient English, both written and spoken
  • Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and accountability for results within the given scope
  • Growth mindset, with focus on solutions, improvements, and constant learning
  • Solid priority-setting skills and efficient work organization in a dynamic business environment
  • Resilience to frequent changes in the supply chain
  • Ability to think and understand quickly, and to adjust plans and actions to the changing circumstances
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team towards a common objective
  • Ability to conduct data analyses and present the outcomes, driving the decision-making process
  • Ability to work with MS Office tools on a good level (mainly Excel)
  • (nice-to-have) Experience in in supply chain planning for TPM sites and large data analysis
  • (nice-to-have) Practical knowledge of JDA and SAP ECC software
