THE ROLE
The E-content Specialist will be a key resource in coordinating and managing the execution of our e-commerce content strategies across multiple platforms, including premium retailer websites, Amazon, Wella Store, and brand Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platforms. Reporting to the Senior Manager of E-commerce Content, this role will focus on driving project workflows, managing communication and requests from various internal and external teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating content-related requests from marketing, product, creative, and other cross-functional teams.
- Manage the end-to-end content production process, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines, align with business objectives, and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring clear communication of priorities and deadlines across teams.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of E-commerce Content to execute content strategies and identify opportunities for content optimization and growth.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between teams to ensure content requirements, revisions, and feedback are captured and executed accurately.
- Use project management tools to track and update project status, providing regular reports and updates on progress and potential bottlenecks.
- Assist in maintaining marketing calendars, production schedules, and content briefs to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Partner with external agencies, freelancers, and platform partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of content assets.
- Support the Senior Manager in optimizing content performance through A/B testing, data analysis, and market insights.
- Monitor content trends, competitive activities, and market behavior to help inform content strategy adjustments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in project management, content production, or digital marketing, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and content-to-commerce strategies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and analytics tools to track performance metrics and workflows.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate cross-functional communication and manage expectations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital content production is a plus.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
