KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is for Laboratory Assistant in R&D Retail Color Formulation department, supporting new consumer beauty products development.
The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Support new product development via sample preparation in laboratory, including technical documentation and batch releases.
- Carrying out all necessary mandatory tests to ensure that the products and the raw materials used in the products meet quality and regulatory requirements (Execute & document measurements in structured formats:
- dyeouts on tresses
- L*a*b* color measurements
- viscosity determination with different methods/devices
- pH measurements of raw materials and defined products/ product combinations
- Support coordination of salon testing and shipments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical and/or scientific background
- Good communication skills in English & German
- Good practical laboratory skills. Good attention to detail and ability to write accurate lab records
- Laboratory working experience and experience with lab test methods. Standard tests include pH, density, rheology
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Curiosity and interest in beauty products would be a plus
- Proficient in data analysis, management and word processing
- Organized and structured working approach; able to work independently in a reliable and careful way, with a “hands-on” mentality
- Solution-oriented attitude, conceptual and analytical thinking, striving for results, flexibility and responsiveness
- Enthusiastic and collaborative team player who enjoys working in multi-cultural, global & diverse teams across departments.
